They both sat there in the cabin.  Snake sat on the couch with a cigerette in his mouth, and his arms laying on his knees.  Meryl sat across from him sitting like a boy on a chair. Legs spread and her wrists resting on her knees.  Otacon was pacing back and forth to the side of them.  Hands behind his back as his face was lowered.  The only noise was heard was wind from the snow storm outside and a clock ticking.  Were they waiting for something? Snake had that cold look in his eyes.  He was speechless and had nothing he wanted to say or could say.  Otacon just kept thinking of a way to make things right again.  Meryl, she closed her eyes.
